WELCOME
 I am delighted to have taken over the Race Horse Trainer's Licence in November 2004 from my father-in-law, Toby Balding. His record speaks for itself and I was lucky enough to have spent sixteen years under his tutelage. Initially, as a Pupil Assistant, followed by fourteen years as Assistant Trainer. Having a Dual Purpose Licence enables our owners to have racecourse action all year round if they wish.
Our facilities are second to none, with a new purpose built yard here in Hampshire, which we moved in to in 2003. With two Grand National winners, two Champion Hurdle winners and a Gold Cup winner all having been trained on our present gallops.
We run a number of syndicates and we have our own Racing Club. Visitors are always welcome to come and see the yard and to meet our staff and to watch our horses working on the gallops: just give us a call to arrange a convenient date.
